A fabulously clean "Director" 4-4-0 N0.5504 "Jutland" stands at Nottingham Victoria with a London-bound express in this 1929 shot.
ex-GC
ex-GC "Atlantic" 4-4-2 No.5260 waits with an "up" local in this pre-1946 shot. She ended her days in December 1950 at Lincoln (40A) depot.

Annesley-allocated "Royal Scot" 4-6-0 No.46163 "Civil Service Rifleman" powers north through East Leake on 16th July 1964 with the 11.15 Nottingham - Marylebone parcels.She was withdrawn one month later!
Ardsley (56B) allocated
Ardsley (56B) allocated "B1" 4-6-0 No.61017 "Bushbuck" approaches Bulwell Common on 18th April 1964 with the 13.45 Annesley - Woodford Class "H". She will returrn from Woodford at 17.53 with 5N38 back to Ardsley, being re-manned at Annesley South platform.

"9F" 2-10-0 No.92068 storms through New Basford with a down "runner" at 09.16 on Saturday 31st August 1963. On the closure of Annesley MPD on Jan 3rd 1966 she moved to Derby (16C) from where she was withdrawn four months later.


"Black Five" 4-6-0 No.45292 is being watered by her Annesley crew at the south end of Nottingham Victoria on Saturday 31st July 1965, prior to working the 17.15 to London Marylebone

Annesley's longest serving
Annesley's longest serving "9F" no.92043 passes Rushcliffe Halt with 8B48, the 14.30 Annesley - Woodford. She will arrive at her destination at 17.10. She will return with 7E71, the 18.25 empties to Mansfield Concentration Sidings, arriving in Annesley yard at 20.37. This was the job I made my first trip to Woodford on, with driver Jack Jordan.
